Union Bank is "GOING GREEN" with the "We Mean Green" Campaign.
Union Bank has taken the following steps to enhance our operations in an effort to recognize the importance of conserving our natural resources, and preserving the environment for our future generations.
- Union Bank statements are created without using colored ink, which simplifies statement production, and as a result saves time and energy.
- Union Bank encourages the use of Internet Banking and specifically, "e-statements", which are electronic versions of your monthly bank statement that completely eliminate paper waste.
Not only does Union Bank encourage action with our customers, we also "practice what we preach" by looking for ways to eliminate internal paper waste.
- Union Bank consistently strives for electronic data preparation and processing for all documents.
- Union Bank process all items and checks written and received by our customers by "IRD", or "Image Replacement Documents". Every check that is processed through any of our facilities throughout the State of Oklahoma is kept for a short period of time, shredded, and then recycled.
